Mine was leaking pretty bad for a while, now it seems it has completely stopped. It didn't leak a bit before the gush either... *Curious*

Any idea where it was leaking FROM? Did it stop leaking because the fluid got too low, or maybe it was leaking because it was too high before?

Shari was leaking C4 when I got her, but all it took was a fresh pan gasket.

There can be a number of causes for transitory leaks, assuming you are retaining a consistent ATF level in the trans. Converter snout seals can be cranky. The converter check in the pump can occasionally not seat completely, causing leaks when the car sits for awhile. Heat and vibration can upset the dipstick tube o-ring.

Narrow down where the leak is/was coming from and maybe we can help further...

I found the best way to fix a leaking C4 is to install a T5. That fixes it allright.

No idea where it's coming from... right when I thought I knew where... it looked like it was somewhere else... Looks like form the pan though
