Hi,
Has anyone ever had to replace part of the fire wall? P/O punctured the P/S fire wall about 6-8 inches above where the torque box meets the firewall. Puncture is 1-2 inches wide and 2-3 inches ling. I guess while I am replacing the side cowl panel and the torque box I might as well repair this. My question is what would be the best way to approach this? LMK

If it's a puncture then close it up and weld it shut. If it's a hole then weld in a patch.
