I haven't got the new motor in yet and I'm worrying about what color I'm gonna paint my car(hopefully this summer). I'm thinking emberglow with all the chrome and GT exhaust or maybe a creamy white or a shde of pewter. Anyone got some pics?

Thanks. I remember looking at this one and I couldn't find the link. Judging by the quality of the images, I suspect that the color rendition isn't very accurate, be it the camera or my monitor. I'll be going to the Good Guys show in Pleasanton next week and hopefully an Emberglow will be there that I can see in person. Hopefully some fellow VMFers will be there as well. I'll be wearing my shirt!

Just wondering what color is your '65 convertible? I like it. Is it tropical turquoise or something close to that? I'm just about ready for paint on my coupe and I'm leaning toward something similar to that color.

The color is Tahoe Turquoise, I believe. Of the paint samples I've matched it to, that one seems to be the closest match. It is currently undergoing a color change, however, to Silver Blue with blue and white pony interior.
