HI I am thinking of painting my mustang convertible purple and would like to see some cars that are painted that color .. If you can help out that would be great...

what shade of purple are you thinking of? i think a nice deep purple would look good. i'll see if i can find a picture.

Not a convertible but my 97 GT is Deep Violet Metallic - it was used also on 96 Fords. Not a very common color.
Her name and personalized plate is SGRPLUM

I have a Vintage Burgandy(X color code) 67 Mustang Convertable but it is buried in storage so badly you cant get to it. Sorry. but "Mustang Does It" book shows a nice 67 hardtop with a black vinyl roof.

Hate to be the Troll Under the Bridge, but I've seen a purple vert at a local Ford Show and it was ugly to the point of embarrassment. When we bought my son's 68 GT, the owner, granddaughter of the original owner, was going to restore it and paint it purple!!!! I think the car smiled when we towed it away! But... this is your car after all, do what you want, just consider the resale value down the road.
