So is that to hold the spring and UCA while you work on the lower control arm?? If you thread that thru the spring and attach to the shock tower and secure the lower bolts to the spring purch, how can you remove the spring without disconnecting the spindle and letting the spring and UCA down. Or is that how it works?
You unbolt the spring perch from the upper control arm

NEVER use those 2 piece strut spring compressors on a Mustang! Had a problem and the spring flew. It's dangerous and scary when a sping flies.

Then I rented another compressor and the shaft hit the perch. Wrong compressor again. I think it was the kind ElConductor posted. Don't how this compressor can be safely used on a Mustang.

The one GT350H posted worked perfectly and safely. Is it possible that this $50 spring compressor will work as well? OEMTOOLS 27035 Coil Spring Compressor
