Is anyone else having a heck of a time logging in to AOL IM? I wanted to go on to go to the VMF chat room and every time I DO get past the "sending username as password" part it says unknown error, i wasnt able to get on in the middle of the day yesterday either.....

I was in earlier with Bob, Shanman and few others and then ZAPPPPP! we were booted and have been unable to get back in PERIOD! this isn't good for the bossman's VMF chat addiction....

Um, not to be mean, but AOL, um SUCKS. You pay the same amount to AOL as you would to all other ISPs, but you have to deal with all the AOL crap, as follows:

1. slow speeds
2. advertisement pop up windows
3. extraneous software that screws up more computers than I can count
4. inability to logon to sites as you, blocked sites, etc
5, less than helpful customer service.
6. etc
7. etc
8. etc.

Me? Opinionated? NOOOOOO...

I'm an AOL member (shoot me), and have yet to be able to get into the chat. I've tried to get my password (it says I've already established an account), but they never send it via email as promised.
My work computer's security settings will no allow me to download AOL IM (what, is there some porn there or something?)
I may have to open another name for use on the VMF chat / AOL IM. Dickson
