I have what is supposed to be a 1967 rear end but am considering putting it on a 1966 car, (5 stud) is that a problem, can someone advise please?

5 lug is only an issue if you don't have any 5 lug wheels to put on the car. The rear is a hair wider, which is ok if you want to run late model wheels w/o a spacer.
My 67's rear measures 59.5 from the outter face of the brake drums.

Don' bother answering the car i was going to buy sold out for 9k while my mechanic was on his way to inspect it for 10 k. I won't be needing to change rear ends. 2 kind of people!
