When I bought my 9" it came with reverse-eye leaf springs and I just figured I would run then since they aren't really that old (says the old owner). I plan on using 17x8 wheels (maybe 17x7 on the front) and want my car lower but level all the way around.

I see a lot of mid-eye lovers on here and wondered what mine would do.

Here's a side view of my 1965. I have the reverse eye's on mine with the one inch drop spring's up front and the control arms were dropped 1.75 inch's.

I believe the reverse eye's drop the rear approx.two inch's from stock.

I'm not sure how your 17's will fit though. Mine are 225/70x14's.The rear sit's about one inch higher than the front. As you can see,it's low but not quite in the Weed's.I can still get my floor jack under it.

Marty.
