on an automatic 6cylinder is the setup for the automatic, trans, pedal, etc the same with a 65 and 66! i need certain parts and i found some near me but they have a 66 and i need it for a 65! thanks a bunch!

Should be identical.

All the linkage is the same. The kick down is different on a '65 than a '66, and the throttle linkage and kickdown linkage is different from the I6 to the V8. What parts in particular are you looking for? It'd be easier to answer if they'll swap.
