I've had lots of VW's, so I'm ready.

VW's are air cooled, therefore, water pumps are rare and expensive. If you find one, you should advertise it on eBay with a huge reserve.

Interesting note: You could get a vintage bug with a/c. Believe it or not, it used the same York/Tecumseh compressor that the Mustang used. Can you imagine a 53 hp engine with a power robbing a/c compressor like that?
