I got a new set of pillar pads and before i screw up, could someone give me an idea how to attach them. There are 4 rectangle indentations on them but no slots for the door panel clips to fit in. Am i suppose to slice an opening or what? If so where do i slice it? Its a 67 coupe if that matters.

I assume that the 4 idnetions are on the back? If so, I'd take an exacto knife and open one of them to insert the door panel clips. Then if it works, do the rest. There is probably just molded rubber over the hole.

they are tricky, and don't usually line up very well.I did it on two of my 67 verts.do the small slice, but you can do it on any of the 4 sides of the square to properly line up the mounting holes.

I bought a set of repro pillar pads for my 67 and the clip holes were in the wrong place. I ended up drilling a hole in them and using black trim screws to hold them on (looked better than it sounds).

Then I bought some OEM ones off ebay. They clipped right on.
