I've noticed that ever since the power outage back East that any picture (avatar or sig) that references http://home.attbi.com no longer works.
If your web-site points there all is well. But if you are referencing a picture in that Domain, no workee.

I've found that changing your picture references from http://home.attbi.com/~MyUserId/... to http://home.comcast.net/~MyUserId... once agains allows the world (if VMF is your world) to see your pics.

Thanks for the advice . . . I've updated all my link(s) here on the VMF, but this whole AT&T/Comcast thing has me a little miffed.

My homepage is linked to on numerous sites, including our very own Tom Schmidt's . . . what am I supposed to do?? Contact all these people and notify them of the url change and expect them to do it?? ::

I haven't gotten a single 'hit' on my website for a week now, and Google used to put my page in the top ten if you searched for "1967 Mustang 390 GT". Now, my page doesn't even show up on Google at all!!

I'm feeling like I'm starting all over. (F-ing Comcast!!)

(but anyway, thanks for the tip!)

67gt... why not buy a domain name? than no matter where your web site is hosted, the address will always be the same. they are not very much money.

I don't think the power outage is related. They probably just canceled the redirects from the attbi/comcast transition.
