Night before last, while at the A/C shop in el Centro, someone broke in and tryed to steal Captain America. :( They messed up the ignition switch...this a week before MITM cruise... ::

I am so glad they didn't get it, but now I know I won't sleep until it is home... :(

Can the key cylender be re-keyed to the old key? I don't want different door locks and ignition lock... ::

AS an option You can purchase complete key sets which include the door locks.

I am not sure on the answer to your question.

I'm glad it didn't get stolen, but the perpetrators must not have been pros if they couldn't get it started. I think I would pursue requiring the shop to replace the ig switch, and get it keyed as before by most locksmiths.

I thought more in lines of a chain and locks through the wheels every time we park it...

I'm not sure if SWMBO will always do it though...Maybe there is a break on insurance for this type of security???
