A couple weeks ago I got a steal on an Autopower Race Roll Bar. I was all set to place my order with StreetorTrack and my buddy says his boss has a roll bar new in box for an old mustang. We checked it out and few bucks later it was mine. My question is: Is there a trick to cutting the hole in the interior panel for the rear bar to go through? How did you other guys do it? And, was your method successful or do you have any tips on a better (after the fact) way?

Thanks in advance

Set the main hoop into place, making sure its were it going to be when fastened down. Slide something up into the rear stubs on the main hoop (I used some 1" ABS tubing because it was flexable enough to get in there) Slide the ABS down until it contacts the rear panels. If you roll the ABS around in the rollbar stubs you can mark where the tubing hits the panels. I used a hole saw to do the 2 holes, worked well.
