I've got some new Moser axles for my Versailles rear end and need to install new bearings, do I press the bearings until they stop or is there supposed to be a gap between the bearing and axle hub? Thanks

Thanks. I have the Mustang Steve cobra brake brackets to install. The way I understand it, the bracket goes on first, then the bearing then the retainer. The oil seal goes in the rear axle housing and there is no seal on the axle itself. If I remember correctly the Versailles axle original setup had 2 oil seals. Below is a pic of the Mustang Steve assembly instructions. I've got a Timken Set20, I think this is the correct bearing set, still trying to verify.

Interesting that they don't show a paper gasket between the axle flange and the bearing retainer......
I guess it's generic for multiple rear ends. I am going to order axle flange seals and install in addition to the one in the housing. Actually ordering a couple since they list a couple of different sizes.
