Hello everyone,

I am new here on this list. After a number of years I just back to work on my
1970 Mach 1. This car has been apart and on a rotisseri since 1993. Previously I
had stripped the paint of most of the topside body work and done a good bit of
"sandblasting". Today I finally got back to work on the car with doing some more
sandblasting. I worked for about 1.5 hours and it doesn't look like I got anything done.

I have quite a bit of body work to do, the body is quite trashed with rust. I plan to get the
sandblasting finished and start with the new body work. I have a feeling this whole
endeavor will get worse before it gets better.

Thanks for listening.

Ed

There is always someone who can answer all of you questions, it's just not me.

Also, don't lose hope yet, the fun has just begun! You will meet a lot of good people here and they will give you encouragement throughout your project.

Welcome to the family. A project always looks worse before it gets better. My clone vert is finally getting more parts than it was losing...then summer comes and boating season begins. It's good to be away from the project for awhile. It gives you time to reflect on the next stage.

Hmmmmmmm,

I have been reflecting since 1993. I have primarily been thinking of all the body work
that needs to be done. Thinking, not doing is a bad thing.
