is 5.5 in backspacing too much for a 65? looking to put new mustng rims on and was just wondering

The BS is to much on the new wheels but there is a company that makes the correct adapters for $300 to fit the new wheel to the ols stangs. I can't recall at this time who makes the adapters. Some one from here will know.

ok i know the minimum backspacing? anybody have a clue who makes the adaptors?
