For those of us here who have restomods, what is the best way to insure your car. I talked to ICBC, but they will base the value on a book for a '67 mustang, unless you qualify for collector plates.

Are there other options? I already contacted the big US providers with ho luck, I was referred to a company in ontario, but they will not insire in BC either :(

AVIVA here in Calgary has a plan (Silver Wheel Plan) - very reasonable. If you get an appraisal from a recognized appraiser, they will insure it for that amount. contact 1-800-332-1087

I use Hagerty Ins. Thank god I never had to use it yet, but other VFM'ers who have rave about them.
