I have a 65 289 HiPo V-8 4spd and am putting
a new Sanden R-134a A/C system in it along with a
12" pusher fan mounted on the front of the radiator.

Any suggestions for a GOOD radiator to help keep it from
overheating our HOT ARIZONA summers> Or any other suggestions???

Thanks

Have fixed a lot of 65-66 Mustangs inAz. Get a 3 core from a 67-68 and carefully cut out the sides of your front core support. If you do it right you can leave the tabs for mounting and have a 20 inch radiator. You will also have to cut the battery box. National Parts Depot sells a conversion kit so you can use the 67-68 type battery hold down Gary AZ Can also get a $400. Aluminum one made on about Bell rd and I 17

A 16" puller fan and a 3 or 4 core should do it. The 20" solution is not bad either, MustangSteve did one on a 65 he drives in Texas, you may want to check him out... http://www.mustangsteve.com/CarPics2.html
