I'm ready to stick the rear suspension under my '67 now and I'm getting ideas on how to go about it. I've been reading on poly vs. solid bushings vs. a spherical setup like global west sells, multi, mono, and fiberglass leafs, watt's link, torque arms and the rest. I'm looking to spend a decent amount and I can fabricate some (I can't afford the TCP setup). What is my best route for close to a grand. I plan for the car to be multi purpose. I can take it to the autocross and then go over to the drag strip for once in a while too. Thanks for the help.
:)

Getting optimal drag AND autocross traction is a TALL order!!

Caltracs or slide-a-links seem to be the best streetable drag setup (I plan on getting caltracs before the year is out....the caltrac site shows musclecars clearly caltrac equipped doing MAD wheelies with slicks!!)...but I'd bet they'd get in the way of hardcore autocrossing.
