Are they all manufactured by the same company? I'd rather buy new rather than fighting a rebuild.
I know of at least three, and there are probably more, reproduction hinge toolings/manufacturers out there.

For 65-66, we have settled upon "ACP" as being the best-quality and most-original looking available. The rest of the field is pretty grim in comparison.

The ACP hinges are a nicely done and clean sand-castings. Other hinges out there are either smooth (which sticks out like a sore thumb as being repro/replacements), or really really crude sand-castings.

Rick,

exactly the feedback i was looking for. I see that i can purchase hinges individually (4 pieces for the car). Does NPD offer a package of 4 for the entire car?

The '65 hinges used 3/8" bolts to attach to the door and the body. '66 and later used 5/16" bolts. If the new hinges are designed for 5/16" bolts I'm sure it would be easy to drill them out for 3/8" bolts.
