does anybody know of anyone that might have the old paint formula for DDL-9381 , This is the black textured paint on the hood. I have a guy that can still mix laquer paints. Or what other paints will work? Thanks

There has been a lot of talk about this the past few days (I was asking the same thing too /forums/images/icons/smile.gif) Do a quick search for "black hood paint" and you should come up with a lot of info. If I find the links, I'll post them for you.

If not you can use a matting paste which is available from your paint surplier which you mix 50-50 with your 2 pac black and it comes up like your factory finish without the worry of getting polsh stains. I have tested this and compared the finish to my friends !low milage 1owner unrestored unpainted Boss mustang and it's hard to tell them apart.....
