Hmmm, let's see...from my last full machining of the racing engine.....351W...All work performed by a local racing shop.
Acid Dip, Bore, Deck-Plate Hone on CK10, Line Hone, Float Pins on rods, re-size rods, Deck block, grind crank, balance rotating and reciprocating assemblies, install cam bearings.....I supplied all parts except cam bearings...
I installed oil restrictors and de-burred and stress relieved the block, crank and rods and cut the pistons for deck clearance.
I assembled and blueprinted the engine...
Total Cost....a little over 800.00....I would estimate that to be in the 1K range in light of what my shop rate is now compared to then.
