Not to be insulting, but we call them a "car rental" here...if you ask someong to "hire a car" they may think you are referring to a limo.

Sorry, I am in N. Cal and do not know of S. Cal car rental's.

Okay, it sounds like a party in October! Don't forget, it's just 7 hours from LA to SF / NorCal where a bunch of us are at!

As far as rental, you might want to try doing a search on switchboard.com for exotic/luxury car rentals in the LA area. You should be able to find a Cobra.

Let us know how your plans progress. I hope you didn't sell the Boss to fund the trip. That's just not right!

Try Budget, their were renting them a couple of years ago.
