I was 20 traded in 53 Buick 2dr HT Riviera, for turquoise 641/2 cp 6cyl 170ci 3 speed. Turned out to be POS. At 17 bought 26 model T cp $600.00 drove it home, my first classic sold it for $650.00. Same year 1961 bought classic #2 49 Merc 2dr,80,000 miles $1,000.00 ran great friends dad was Buick dealer traded straight across for the Riviera. Ran and drove great. Also in 63 bought first classic motorcycle 1963 Harley Sportster, $1,250.00. Anyway I am 75 and my youngest son found a 1966 Sauterne Gold Convertible hadn't been licensed since 1978,transported to Florida in 1991 was fixed up top, tires shocks from Sears covered with blankets and cover and sat my son went to see it in the spring of 2017,my son went to verify the car. I bought the car and had it transported to Missouri in November of 2018. I will post pictures. This car was the high school graduation gift for the person I bought it from she dove it through college U Conn graduated and joined the Air Force in 1973.
