Brake Lights Stay Lit On My '68 Coupe: I have purchased the part and can reach the location. Does the malfunctioning part "pull out" in order to replace, or is there some other form of manipulation that is commonly used? I am a green rookie.

Are you asking about the break light switch?
It slides off a peg on the break pedal, there should be a plastic bushing there too.
I’d also check that the pedal is returning all the way. If it’s not that will keep the lights on.

Thx Quiet Chris... that seems logical after getting some eyeballs on it. Might I be needing a longish screwdriver to jimmy loose or should it come off with some jiggling?
