I removed my master cylinder and booster last year, took it apart cleaned it up. Yesterday I try and install it and the piston (I'm not sure what it is actually called) on the back of the booster sticks out further than the bracket. What am I doing wrong, I'm not 100% sure I have the bracket hooked up right. Does the lever that hooks to the brake pedal attach to the bottom hole of the bracket on the booster? Why is the piston extending out to far, it wacks the firewall with it sticking out. Does any of this make sense, is there anywhere I can find a diagram of how it hooks up?
