Found a 69 gt coupe. trying to decipher the bucktag. Where can i look for the codes? or who can decode it for me.
Tag reads 9T01M136971
Buck reads AC PB GT LP DE CL PS VG HP TC
I can do it myself if I knew where to look. Thanks

IIRC the Mustang Club of Germany has a website with an extensive list of decoded buck tag info. I first learned about it from the Boss 302 site when decoding my Boss buck tag. Don't have the exact address, so try googling it.

Understand that diferent plants used different codes, and the codes could vary from year to year, as well as within a producton year. I researched the Boss 302's (see http://www.boss302.com/board/viewthread.php3?FID=2&TID=19324.
That said, I believe the codes are as follows:
AC - Air conditioning
PB - Power Brakes
GT - GT Equipment Group
LP - Usually a stereo option on Metuchen cars, I haven't seen it on a '69 Dearborn before. Dearborn typically used AM for AM/8 track and ST for AM/FM.
DE - Dual Exhaust
CL - Courtesy Lighting? Would be heavy duty cooling on a Metuchen car, I haven't seen it on a Dearborn car.
PS - Power Steering
VG - Visibility Group
HP - Hood Pins
TC - Tilt-away column?

Do you by chance have a Marti report for the car?
