I was watching LeMans coverage this weekend and a Ford commercial came on. This is the one about racing heritage. Low and behold, the last car shown (1/2 - 1 second) is a white #86 GT-1 Mustang. It is an ex-Roush Trans-Am car that he has won his class at the SCCA runoffs the last two years.
I called my buddy and he took his car from Michigan down to Georgia to shoot the commercial. I think Ford paid enough to get them down there, but the cost fuel, tires & etc was on them.
It is amazing the trouble they go to for just a fraction of a second of film.
