Ford brought one into the building where I work. I got to sit in it. That gas cap is awesome. I think there will be a run on the torx drivers of the size they use to put them on. There's going to be a lot of replacement caps ordered. :)

Seriously, it is a beautiful car

I need one of those, I really want to go slap my cash down and order one but they don't take Monopoly Money.

Thanks, pprince, I'm already so excited and impatient I can hardly stand it!
Talked to my car dealer yesterday. Should have my BULLITT VIN and build date in a day or two.
I already ordered personalized BULLITT license plates. Can't believe they weren't already taken!
I'm a very happy girl!

It still ain't a '67 Fastback S-code. Style. That's what is about and the 2001 tang ain't got it.
Now performance? Its got that no doubt over the '67 but then again 34 years of auto development help.

the bullit package is around $4k

the guys over at the late model web forum seem to think it's a rip-off and you don't really get much in the performance department. they say you could spend $4k and get MUCH more in terms of power add-ons and stuff.

Could put aftermarket add ons and create a Saleen, Shelby, Hipo or GT, but they still aren't original nor hold equal value. California Specials were appearance only and still have a premium and desireability over standard models. I'm looking forward to the Bullitt addition to our stable and could care less about power or performance.

Opps. Yep I should have responded in kind. I have a '67 and since the '68 is so close I slipped up.
I stand corrected.
