In My 68 with a 351c and C4 --with engine running, from park to drive shift is OK, but
from park to reverse have a clunk in it . any ideas.

C4's are a bit harsh due to using a band to engage reverse....if you have any slop in the rear trans yoke, u-joints or rear gearset, it will magnify this into a clunk...

My D-coder occasionally does the same thing....normal for a chassis with 200K miles on it...

Any other funny noises or vibrations going down the road...?

I loved that show :)
