I removed my C4, here's the before.....

......and after I degreased it. (not sure what that tan paint is doing there?)

Should/could this be painted properly?......

I'd like to replace this front seal while the tranny is out.
What's the best way to remove it?...My slide hammer?
Any tricks to easily install the new one?

What I threw together to store the tranny on...so I can easily move it around!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Bryan,
Another question.....
There are two (4 bolt) plates on the tranny, one on each side.
What are they access for? Anything to adjust?
Thanks,

Both

One is the servo actuator for the reverse band and the other is the servo for the intermediate band.

Nothing to adjust INSIDE the 4-bolt covers. The adustment is made on the opposite side across from the covers.

The square head adjusting rods get torqued to 10 ft lbs, (jam nut loose first) then backed off a set # of turns.

I always get them mixed up if I try to REMEMBER how many turns? I just look it up. One is 3 turns out. The other is 1.75 turns out (I think).

I can't remember which is which.
