Original 4100 hi-po carb totally restored. This was just done by Gottafish carbs, paying attention to every part of the carb to make it completely correct and almost as good as new. Any worn, incorrect or just not completely prefect part was replaced or restored. Shipping by Priority Mail- $25, plus the amount of insurance you want for the carb. These are becoming increasingly rare to find and especially in a restored condition. Carb has original tag on it.

Last one I saw sold was $3900 and it hadn't been restored. I'm just going by what the rebuilder told me as to the rarity of these. Before we lost Jon @ Pony Carbs, he was charging $2500 just for hi-po carb cores. Just thought I'd put this out there in case there was some interest.

I was offered a 68 GT 350 convert for my 65 K GT convert & $10K and I countered at $5K. I think he might have split it at $7500, but we never got there. I paid $16K for the K car. The GT 350 needed nothing! If only we had known!

Well, to be fair, I was ignorant in a much different world. Bought my first Mustang, a 6 coupe for $700, bought my second a year later as a gutted out 65 coupe that turned out to be a K-code. I used the K-code as a parts car to upgrade my 6. In today’s world that would be the height of stupidity, but to a 16 year old in the early 70s, made perfect sense……ah, hindsight.

Just buy a finished one for 70-80k it’s expensive yes but some people would tell you that you part it out for 140k maybe more…
