Hello,
I have a 1970 fastback and the power brake system from a 69 T-bird. Does any one know if this brake system will work on my fastback? I measured the lower control arm at the mounting point to the frame and its about 3 3/4 " and the one on my fastback is about 2 3/4 ". I thought I might just be able to just change the spindles, rotors and booster/master cylnder. Any advice will be great. Thanks.

I don't think it will work. Cars are totaly different. I bet the master and booster would be to big to fit. I would look into a swap from a Mustang.[I swapped a system from a MachI into my 70 coupe] or a Gernada system. I think in the long run, it would work better, and be cheeper.

I read on another forum that you could probably use a master cylinder and booster from a 85-90 Ranger. The booster is apparently pretty small. The master cylinder will work with all drum brakes too.
