I’ve had a Canton pan for many years. Get the gasket from Canton and it’ll be leak free.

Oh yeah, I’ve got some reinforcement rails to add to her. 🇺🇸💪🏼Also, make sure the pan lips are perfectly flat.
You cant use rails on a Canton pan. Rails only work on flat pans. Canton uses dimpled pans.Oh yeah, I’ve got some reinforcement rails to add to her. 🇺🇸💪🏼
Well… looks like I’m returning them then 😔 glad I brought it up. SUNNUVABITCH… cars and their infinite “rules / needs”lol. You cant use rails on a Canton pan. Rails only work on flat pans. Canton uses dimpled pans.

Yeah, that’s what I was wondering. Cause I have been seeing a dozen or so legit mechanics on YT posing videos of using the one piece rubber gaskets with a little RTV in the corners. And I’m thinking… if all these guys are talking about how amazing these one piece gaskets are… why would everyone else be saying to only use 4 piece?!First of all, it's hilarious that CantMeasure would point at any other product and say "that will make it leak". They have leaking down to a science themselves. lol
I used the 1 piece gasket and mine is now leak free (I have the Canton Road Race pan). You need to use the gasket for the older cars (Fel-Pro OS 13260).
You have to be sure to silicone the hoops at both ends (despite the instructions saying not to) and the corners. But you have to do that with any gasket when the pans fit as badly as the Canton ones do. This is what Jim at Ford Strokers advised me to do.

🤣🤣🤣
I already ordered and have my new Canton 15-680 here and ready to be installed 😔 too many options and opinions out there to get all the stuff. If you want the best roadracing pan that will not let your engine down on oil get a Aviaid pan man. It will keep it all wet down there in the crank shaft area. Never any oil starvation on any corner no matter what.

Whoops. Will have to keep that in mind if mine starts leaking.I’ve tried the one pc gaskets and they leaked. The 4 pc from Canton has not leaked yet.
