Does anyone know how many points they will take or if any for not having the orignal color.

I believe it is 5 points, plus 25 if the color doesn't match the data plate.

Depends on the class and the show. If its a larger show with a 500 point system I have seen as high as 100 points Some shows will automatically move your car to a modified class. In general if your entering a restored class and the car is not the original color you will not win a throphy. But enter it and have fun .... not all the fun is in winning something

Well, so much for showing the 69!! *LOL*

I have a matching numbers car, with the original engine tranny and rearend. But I just could not convince myself to paint it back to the original "Sunlit Gold" (better known as baby poop brown).

I still have fun at the local cruise nights. Wrong color and all. Have fun, that's what it's all about.
