Do most "caravaners" carry walkie-talkies? (In the old days it was CB radios.)

A lot of guys use those FMS radios...family message system or some such...these days...

I still have my old CB from my racing days...it was a great way to kill the boredom on a long tow...

Always posted my channel in shoe polish on the back of the race car so anyone who was interested could find me when on the interstate...

No, we tried it a couple times going between Tucson and Phoenix but it was a real pain. The reception was limited and bad and too many people were on the same channels. We prefer using our CB radios, especially since we've been saved from traffic problems a couple of times by listening to the truckers.
