I live at 4200 feet elevation at times i go down to 250 feet elevation. What is the rule of thumb as far as jetting the carb up for lower elevation? Thanks mike

My Holley Tuning Book suggests the jets be dropped one jet size for every 2000 ft.
Also, the PV should be dropped down 2 numbers for every 3000 ft.

Its always my pleasure to help out my fellow VMFers :)

Don't forget that when you're playing with the jetting at high elevation, its going to be lean at sea level if not jetted back up. There's always the "potential" for detonation or worse if you run too lean. We don't want to hurt that beautiful V8 of yours.
