i'm looking for a new carb. i have a .030 over 302, 10:1 kb pistons, forged crank and rods, .501 .498 hydraulic cam, mild port work, performer rpm manifold, hooker competition headers. i also use a 100-150 hp nitrous kit. my ? is what carb do u guys think i should run? let me know your thoughts. thanks

Before you introduced the "N-word" (Nitrous), I would have recomended a Demon or Edelbrock between 500 and 625 cfm. However, since you will be "gassing" the car, I think that a 675 Demon or E-brock AVS might be more appropriate.

the heads are stock 289 heads originally from this car with mild port work. right now i have a 600 holley vacum secondary carb.

Not that I know anything about NOx stuff. Isn't there an extra gas injector(s) to take care of extra gas need. Start with that 600Vac, although I understand that with NOx being a little rich is like a insurance. Maybe you should have the a/f ratio checked when nitrous ox is on?
