Well the Pro Street Stang is almost ready for the streets again. The oil pressure problem was a push rod that had snapped in half and the lifter had shot out. We installed a new cam and lifters to be safe. The expert that I hired to help with this was really good. The problem now is the carb. While the cam was breaking in he decided to adjust the carb. The next thing I know smoke is coming out the exhaust. This is after the car has been running for 15 minutes oil pressure great. It has never smoked before, and is very fresh! He thought it was loading up? Said I need to rejet the carb? This is really starting to piss me off. Let me know what you guys think. Can I rejet the carb my self? Does this sound like the problem????
Thanks again
Paul

Assuming the smoke was fuel (black smoke) I doubt that jetting had anything to do with the smoke, especially if it hadn't smoked before. Probably what has happened is some trash has worked it's way on one of the needle and seats and caused the carburetor to flood or the air bleeds are stopped up.

Required tools for operating a Vintage Mustang:
1. Duct Tape
2. J.B. Weld
3. B.F.H. (Big Fat Hammer)
4. VINTAGE MUSTANG FORUMS II
