If anyone is going, I've found a reasonable place to stay that close to faierground. It's the Econo Lodge in Harrisgurg/Wormleysburg @ 1-717-763-7086. I've stayed there before and have my resorvations for this year. See ya'll there.

When is the Ford Show at Carlisle? I've been to Spring and Fall Carlisle before - never to the ford show. I presume the Ford show is better for us than the Spring show??

How does this work when you're showing a car? Does
the car stay in the show field overnight? Do you park
at the hotel? I would like to bring my car this year and
I don't like the idea of leaving it in a hotel parking lot over night.

I guess the question is, what kind of security is provided by
the show or the hotel?? I can't imagine leaving my car
overnight in a hotel parking lot. I don't think I could sleep!

For the past five years we (The NH Mustang Club) have been staying at a near by Days Inn. About a dozon of us plus many other car nuts all park at the hotel. No one had a problem yet. No hotel security but some folks just use a car cover. You can use a cable lock with it. Same could be done at show field. There is show security. Don't know much about it but many folks including the FORD SVT cars are left with just car covers. You could call or e-mail the show folks.
