Anyone install a AM/FM cd Player in a 65/66 glovebox ?

Sure. I would suggest attaching the mounting bracket through the carboard glove box insert and to a structural member in the immediate area.

How do you all feel about the units that replace the original radio without cutting, and the cd player in the trunk working from a remote to the replacement radio?

Sounds like a good idea. I have seen them in many catalogs. Are they any good?

That looks sharp. All they see is the radio and your remote relay can be placed anywhere. I would put the cd player in the trunk so NO ONE knows you have one. I have put that combination into two of my own.
