OK.. What's the best gaskets to use for the header collector? At least I think that's where the leak is. Copper? Some kind of squishy aluminum gasket? RTV?

I have Hedman shorties.

Everyone raves about copper for the header...not sure about the collectors...do they make them? I wonder if doubling them up would help? That was always our answer in the old days. ::

Heard good things about using the good ol' paper gaskets but soaking them in water overnight before installing 'em. Then again if the shorty Hedman headers have the same collector flanges as my long tube Hedman's nothing will work ::

I was told "dead soft" aluminum is the way to go....But then again I just developed a leak last drive.....

I'm hoping I can just tighten them up some to take care of the leak! ::

Yes they make them. I've seen them, and had a set but it was the wrong size (I was stupid) and I had to get some others in a pinch.
