Does ceramic coating make an appreciable difference opinion lowering heat production in 5he engine compartment?

Cannot speak to the heat lower variable. Never measured the engine bay temp pre and post. But tri-y’s were ceramic coated over 10 years ago and still look good. Cost me75 per side.

Yup! I still run my TRI-Ys purchased in 1996. I had them ceramic coated by "Jet Hot", back in the day. After 10 years of use, I had them recoated to freshen them for my 3rd engine build. They do give off less heat, it seems. I can only measure them after the fact, since the technology wasn't available to me in '96. LOL
