Well the engine isn't quite in yet but we are getting closer. The universe is conspiring to keep me from getting this job completed.

The city dumped some wood chips that we had asked for.... Guess where? Right in front of the garage door where the coupe is.. The coupe needs to be moved so that we can get the engine hoist out, so that we can.... You get the picture.

But if it weren't for the VMFer's who have helped out it never would have been possible to get this far!

One thing I learned is that it takes a lot longer to do things right. Dropping in an engine would have taken an afternoon as a kid. If the bolts threaded in they would be used. Sand blasting each bolt and finishing them takes a lot of time.

The other thing I learned is that repro tubing lines fit like (*&%&*(*&^%$^#@*&.

Jason, I was thinking the same thing! Are you at Bradley yet? Saw a bunch of students heading south on my way back from WI yesterday.
