I'm not certain what they are called, but I've noticed a few VMFers have made/bought it to support their cars when they've removed the front and rear suspension (not a rotisserie). In most cases the car is still moveable. I remember someone saying (on their website) that they were still able to get the car on a flat-bed when they needed to.
Since I'm not the welder I like to think I am, is there some place this can be bought? Thanks for any suggestions you guys may have.

go find a lower frame cross member and have a large dolly wheel welded to it. This works great for the front end and cost me about $15.
