Okay, what program exactly do I need to download to access the chat room? I have Yahoo messenger now. I had ICQ (hated it). I tried AOL instant messenger, but since I'm not on AOL, it didn't seem to work so well. Anyway, I digress.....

Dang! Just when I got used to being "strange", I became a "newbie". So what the sam hell is that?

I downloaded the AOL one tonight from the link on the main VMF page.

I download IM and it wouldn't work with Netscape. So, I downloaded Netscape 6 and it comes with IM as a module...but the link doesn't work, I had to enter the chat room name vmfchat chat and that took me there.

You need Instant Messenger. Sign on as a new user. When you go to the chat room a pop-up screen will pop up saying the link is bad, but it'll load anyway after you clear the error screen.
