I’ve never heard of these Shelby continuation convertibles. Bet she goes for a pretty penny.

Yeah, I saw that. Lots of chatter too! I like to read the chatter on some of these more interesting Mustangs.

Yep, Shelby made 12 of them between 1980 to 1983. Unlike the (4) Originals in 1966 which all had Standard interiors, These cars all had rollbars and Deluxe Interiors. He teamed up with J. Brunk of Berverly Hills Mustangs and they built the cars together. The whole thing is chronicled in the December 1980 issue of Hot Rod Magazine. All 12 of the cars went to Shelbys best friends and family members. His family got 4 cars (including one for himself) and they still own one of them today...which is a White Convertible owned by Michael Shelby.

I know of one in south central louisiana a friend of mine has who was brought up restoring stangs and is a perfectionist when working on them. He uses as a driver.
