Hey guys, I just got a 302 2v out of a 1969 Fairlane. The car hadn't been driven since 1985. I am looking for the most economic way to put it in my 66 coupe (straight six) Besides pulling of the valve covers and looking inside, what should I do with it. Change oil, installing new radiator, hoses belts and ???? Any Help??

Hello. I did the same thing, mine was out of a 69 torino that sat for 10 years. I replaced fuel pump, did a complete tune up replaced valve cover oil pan and carb gaskets. The p.o. recomended pulling the distributer and running a screw tip adapter down to the oil pump to help lube the low end before starting I had to couple 2 one wasnt long enough . After 2nd turn of the key it fired and runs very well considering. rear seal will probly leak, mine does. Good Luck Dave...
