Completely unrelated to Chicago... I took Shari out today for her at-least-once-a-week drive and got back, my face was hurting. I had been smiling the whole way! She may not have the kick of a K-code, or even the Cat's A-code for that matter, but damn I love my Mustang.

My rumbling exhaust on my 66 fb got quite the attention after church this morning .Several people came up to check it out . The back seat is perfect for the 4 and 7 year old . They get a kick out of riding in the car . Always have a grin when I drive my fastback .

Im still driving the 64.5....oldest son took SWMBO's car so she has my 183 C.I. ranger. Its so much fun to upshift that T5 going up a long hill, and the kids love to ride in the back seat (reverse eye leafs and 620 coils produce that "bounce" all 3 & 4 year olds love ::). It's going into the bodyshop for a face-lift later this month...guess I'll start lookin for a jeep for the winter ::

We had a nice drive also on Sunday. Drove the 69 down to Issaquah. The top down the whole trip. I think we need to enjoy these convertible days while they last. I don't know how many more the'll be until spring.

Looks liked we PO'd "Toples" (the smoker's toothpolish?). I guess we need to send them a nice apple basket, or at least some Aplets and Cotlets.

Those windy rust belters are good folks! (If, perhaps, not quite as congenial and good-looking as us PNW'ers).

Hey guys,
My wife has family in your neck of the woods and they always comment on how flat things are in Illinois and they boast of their (your) mountains. I've been to the PNW on several occassions now and have yet to see a mountain. :( All I ever see is low clouds, fog, and rain. (I figure they're trying to play a joke on me, like selling Florida real estate) BTW, I did drive up this alleged mountain called Mt Rainer but all I saw was fog which eventually turned into wet snow. I kept seeing signs about needing chains to proceed further but I figured those must have been for the folks from California because there wasn't enough snow on the roads to warrant a plow (by Chicgao Mayor Daley standards). So here's my challange to you PNW vmfers: show me a picture of your Mustang with a "mountain" in the background. I don't think you guys can do because they don't exist. ::

As soon as the rain clouds go away there is a mountain right outside of town . So i've been told . Yes we gripe about the rain , but that is so all the people from Calif. do not move here . Oops , I'm an ex-cailf. person . Oh well . Sounds like a challenge . I will see what I can do .
